With thick brushstrokes and natural colors, the Udon pattern comes to life. Using a technique in Japanese calligraphy called Syodou or Syuuji , Masayoshi Oya / Studio Oyama paints strokes resembling the thick noodle Udon. For Fine Little Day , Udon has become a woven linen collection consisting of running meters, pillows and kitchen textiles. The textile is jacquard woven, which means that the colors on the back are inverted, giving you two variations of the same fabric.
